NC Railroad Expo - Trip Report

We don't need much of an excuse to take a road trip these days so we piled into the car and headed off to the NC Railroad Expo in Hickory, NC.  The Expo was held at the very nice  Hickory Metro Convention Center, just off off I-40.

2017 Asheville Food Truck Showdown

The 2017 Asheville Food Truck Showdown provided good entertainment and great food. 17 food trucks participated in this year's event at the WNC Agricultural Center in Fletcher, NC.

WNC Model Train Show - Trip Report

Peg and I made a quick trip to the WNC Model Train Show. The show was held at the WNC AG Center just outside of Ashville, NC.  It was a decent show with plenty of vendors and several nice club layouts. It was worth the price of admission but we really didn't find anything to bring back home. Maybe next year.

Hendersonville Cars and Coffee Photos

Over 300 cars showed up early, starting at 8:00 AM, for the recent Hendersonville Cars and Coffee cruise-in. World of Clothing in Hendersonville, NC hosted the event and cars were spread out all across their large parking lot.
