Real water flows through the train display. There is an 1,800 gallon tank that circulates the water through the rivers and waterfalls.
There are over 1000 scratch built buildings, structures, bridges and trestles in the Train Journey layout.
We had a bit of a hobby collision when I discovered that they had a PEZ truck tucked away at a gas station on the layout. There are all kinds of hidden gems on this great layout.
We bought the discounted tickets so that we could visit other parts of EnterTRAINment Junction as well. We wanted to see Santa Claus but there were too many kids. Go figure. But, we did get the free cookies. We laughed until our sides hurt while in the A-Maze-N Funhouse. Note to self: Mirror mazes make me anxious.
In the Train Expo is a fabulous display called "It's a Marbleous Life." Here you will find Larry and Cathy Svacina's ginormous marble collection.
As a bonus, we were able to see Neil Young’s personal touring Lionel train display in the expo center. Very interesting if you are in to Lionel trains like we are.
There are tons more of things to do at EnterTRAINment Junction for the younger kids and there is a real decent hobby shop here as well. This stop was definitely worth every penny of the admission fee.
