Photos from the Port of Ketchikan, Alaska

While everyone was shopping in Ketchikan, Alaska, I spent some time just watching the fishing boats running up and down the harbor. On our cruise to Alaska, the Norwegian Pearl was tied up at Berth 3 which gave us a fantastic vantage point in which to watch the comings and goings of all the vessels.

For me, it is very relaxing to watch the boats slowly sailing out to their fishing grounds.

Also nearby is the Ketchikan Harbor Seaplane Base. Float planes are constantly taking off and landing near the cruise ship docks.

Be sure to take some time and relax. Enjoy the sites, tour the ship, and have fun.
