Staying at the Sunset Motel in Brevard, NC

The classic motor lodge is slowly going extinct so it is nice to find one still surviving in small town America. We checked in to the Sunset Motel in Brevard, NC while we were doing some house hunting in WNC.

The motel was all lit up with Christmas lights when we arrived. It was very welcoming. We received our room key and parked in front of our room.

It was like taking a trip back in time. The 60's styled decor was cute and everything was clean. It isn't fancy but the beds are comfortable and it is pretty quiet. As long as you aren't allergic to pink flamingo yard ornaments you will enjoy yourself.







The Sunset Motel is a nice place to stay when visiting the area.  Sit and relax a bit and think about what it must have been like to live in slower friendlier times.
