Biltmore Estate during Christmas is a wonderful experience. We are annual pass holders so the Christmas at Biltmore Daytime Celebration is included. Reservations are still required to enter the house but annual pass holders aren't charged extra for the self guided tour. A bonus for pass holders is that you get up close parking as well.
Biltmore House's rooms are beautiful by themselves but when you add all the festive decorations it becomes almost magical. There are more than 70 decorated Christmas trees throughout the house and many of them are accessible from the self-guided tour.
Some of the more interesting areas are located in the basement. Here is where you find the kitchens and indoor recreation areas including a bowling alley and pool.
There are lots of staircases to climb. Many are festively decorated as well.
Don't forget to visit the Biltmore Conservatory while at Biltmore Estate. The greenhouse always has something in bloom. Poinsettias and Orchids added color to our cold December trip.
Christmas at Biltmore Daytime Celebration is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit. If you can order your tickets at least a week before your visit you can save quite a bit of money. Also, be sure to reserve your entrance time for the house as early as possible, During Christmas they will have days when they run out. View more photos over on our photo site: www.bubbaharmon.com
