Actors portray many celebrities of the time and recreate many of their famous speeches and skits. On the grounds of the air field you may run into celebrities such as Bob Hope, Abbott (Bill Riley) and Costello (Joe Ziegler) , or even President Roosevelt (Delmas P. Wood) to name a few.
Troops from all nations are represented. The WWII reenactors do a great job answering questions and showing what it might have been like to live during that time.
All forms of military weapons are on display from machine guns all the way up to tanks. Some are actually fired at the shooting range like this M18 57mm Recoilless Rifle.
The pilots and their crews keep plenty of vintage warbirds in the air all weekend.
World War II era planes you may see include trainers like the Boeing N2S-1 "Stearman" N26M all the way up to the bombers such as the Boeing B-17G "Flying Fortress" 'Yankee Lady' or the Consolidated B-24 "Liberator" 'Diamond Lil'.
