No visit to Seattle, Washington would be complete without a trip up the iconic
Space Needle. The Space Needle is the most recognized landmark in Seattle. It was built in Seattle Center for the 1962 World's Fair. A trip to the top takes only 41 seconds but the lines can take forever. If you don't mind getting up early in the Summer you can take advantage of the Early Up discounts and avoid the crowds.
The observation deck is 500ft. above the ground. From here, you can see the entire city. Well, that is if the clouds behave. Swarovski Telescopes are scattered around the deck and are free to use. Maps point out what you are looking at as well.
