We were nearing the end of our stay in wonderful Rapid City, SD. There was only one more meal before we hit the road eastward. Dakotah Steakhouse is a feast for the eyes as well as your belly. Out in front of the restaurant is a fantastic art piece. This metal bison is made from all sorts of found objects. You could spend an hour looking at all the details and still miss something.
We retired for the evening at our room at Big Sky Lodge in Rapid City, SD. A thunderstorm way off in the distance provided nature’s fireworks for the evening. We enjoyed our stay. In the morning, our journey eastward would begin.
