The street is lined with hundreds of luminaries. Music is provided by local groups and there are often other street performers as well.
All the downtown Waynesville shops and restaurants stay open late. Many have decorated front windows and provide even more entertainment inside.
For a special treat be sure to take a wagon ride and visit the Bethlehem Marketplace.
Oh, and of course you can't forget about Santa. Bring your camera and take a picture with the jolly guy and his wife.
Waynesville's A Night Before Christmas is small town America at its best. If you are in the area you should definitely make an effort to visit.
