We braved the bitter cold and snow squalls to do some shopping at the Sugarloaf Mountain Region AACA Swap Meet. Held at the Carroll County Agriculture Center, this swap meet is now in its 45th year.
Inside the Ag Center it was nice and warm. The center is large enough to allow the vendors to spread out a bit. This is great for you as you don't need to elbow your way in to see what's for sale in most of the spaces.
If you were hungry, the Sugarloaf Mountain Region members were waiting with smiling faces to serve you up some grub all day.
There were vintage items at many of the vendor spots if that was what you were looking for.
There were a few cars in the car corral but nothing really impressive. At least they were inside where it was warm.
There were only a couple of brave souls outside selling items. You had to seriously be hardcore to hand around out there with the wind howling and the snow swirling.
The Sugarloaf Mountain Region AACA swap meet may not be anything grand but it is a nice way to spend a couple of hours. The people are friendly and admission is free. Check it out if you aren't busy when it comes around again.
